V-Ray 3.0 for 3ds Max 2015 已開放客戶下載使用了。支援 3ds Max 2011-2015 版本。

新增功能與修正項目如下 (V-Ray 3.00.06 版):

- 支援3ds Max 2015

- 新增 VRayPointParticleMtl 材質給.vrmesh/Alembic 檔案格式的粒子著色使用。

- Vrmesh exporter 現在可在匯出多個物件時新增一個 Multi/Sub-objec t材質球。

- 現在新增燈光的「包含/移除」清單選項。

- 在 Viewport 視窗框使用 V-Ray RT 時可開啟安全框。

- 在計算粒子為點時新增了「VRayProxy」的選項。

- 在 VRayProxy 面板中新增「允許/不允許」支援 Alembic 檔案名稱的全名。

- 在 VRayProxy 面板中支援來自 Alembic「Hair and particles」的色彩通道。

- VRayProxy 的「Animation offset」現在可以設動畫鍵。

- 在安裝 V-Ray 程式時會加入VRayBump2Normal 貼圖。

- 在 V-Ray RT 進行漸進式採樣時，VRayFrameBuffer 新增「追蹤滑鼠位置」的選項。

- 當 Max 的 VFB 使用時，LensFX 外掛設定才會被套用。

- 預設的 VFB Lens effects 的 Glare 耀光模式現在是「依據算圖時的攝影機」為主。

- The intensity when using the VFB 'Mono' button is now based on the selected RGB components

- 新增 VRayVrmatMtl exporter 支援 VRayBlendMtl。

- 新增 VRayVrmatMtl exporter 支援 checkerboard 和 Falloff 貼圖。

- Global Subdivs Multiplier 現在可設定為零。

- Hair&Fur/VRayOrnatrixMod/VRayHairFarmMod: 修正了材質指定的順序。

- 修正了當取消 VRayLight 創鍵時，MaxScript 系統會出現不預期的錯誤。

- 修正了 VRayLights 和 FumeFX 的 Illumination map 問題。

- Embree: 修正了使用 XMesh 和 MotionBlur 產生當機的問題。

- 在分佈式算圖模式時，當「Use Local host」未開啟時，再也不會跳出 Render node 授權的需求。

- The DR 'Save hosts in scene' now works correctly when rendering through Backburner 

- Fixes raw image output when enabled with an empty path 

- 修正了Reflection/Refraction trace sets「Clear button」。

- Reflection/Refraction trace sets 現在可正常在 inclusive 模式下使用。

- V-Ray RT漸進式採樣設定現在可輸出.vrscene 檔案格式。

- V-Ray RT: VRayParticleTex 現在可被 V-Ray RT 轉換。

-當使用 V-Ray RT 為主要算圖引擎時，可在 VFB 中使用區域算圖(Region Rendering)。

-修正了當刪除或重作 Forest pro 物件時，V-Ray RT 的即時算圖會當機的問題。

- V-Ray RT: 修正了支援Particle Flow操作器中的Material Frequency。

- V-Ray RT/GPU: 修正了 Lens effects 來源通道的問題。

- VRayDisplacementMod: 修正了當計算動態的 Noise 貼圖時，算圖時間變慢的問題。

-修正了VRayClippers的材質通道ID在MultiMatte Render elements 的顯示。

- VRayGLSLMtl/VRayGLSLTex: fixes smoothstep output values outside the interpolation range

- VRayGLSLMtl/VRayGLSLTex:新開啟的 Shaders 現在會新增到最近的歷史檔案紀錄中。

- VRayOSLMtl/VRayOSLTex: 新開啟的 Shaders 現在會新增到最近的歷史檔案紀錄中。

- VRayOSLTex:修正了當指定這個材質到 VRayDomeLight 上會當機的問題。

- 修正了當VRayProxy的vrmesh有大量像素時會當機的問題。

- 修正了VRayProxy計算多個Particles/hairs複製物件不正確的問題。

- 優化了讀取場景中有大量Alembic proxies速度。

- 優化了VRayProxy preview voxel loading routine。

- VRayProxy現在當遇到零個Face/haris/particles時會自動跳過預覽。

- VRayPtex: 當改變PTex的cache size時會影響到算圖速度。

- 在VRayPtex選項新增了開啟或關閉Ptex材質的「Anisotropic」濾鏡。

- 在計算VRayStereoscopic shade map序列時不再會當機。

- 修正了當VRayIES燈在3ds Max中用鎖點模式新增時會當機的問題。

- VRayLight: fixes 'Lock to dome orientation' option to work with nested textures 

- .vrimg/.exr files are now saved if 'Generate preview' is enabled, and 'Memory frame buffer' is off

- VFB: the progressive sampler now creates a raw .vrimg/.exr file

- VFB: the Lens Effects are now applied to images loaded from the history

- VFB: the Lens Effects are now stored in the output file

- Cloning a VRayExtraTex element now clones the include/exclude list

- All VRayGLSLMtl/VRayGLSLTex user defined global variables are now initialized to zero

- VRayGLSLMtl/VRayGLSLTex: shader source files are now shown in the Asset Tracker

- VRayOSLMtl/VRayOSLTex: shader source files are now shown in the Asset Tracker

- Fixes vrimg2exr batch conversion output names generation
